The Boundary Committee has announced further draft proposals to restructure local government in Devon;

1. a single unitary for the whole of the current Devon County Council area excluding Plymouth and Torbay, or
2. a Greater Exeter and Exmouth unitary authority, and a further unitary authority covering the remainder of Devon, with no changes to Plymouth and Torbay.

The official consultation period has ended, but the Boundary Committee is allowing people to continue to comment on the proposals up to the time the Committee makes its recommendations to the Secretary of State on 15th July 2009

Shoreline Management Plan
